Who We Are at
Somos Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Our School
Somos Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a place for everyone! When you walk in the door, you’ll be greeted with a smile by a team who cares about your personal journey. This is a family! With our family mindset, we make sure everyone can make the most of their training. Our team tailors training to each individual, making sure everything is easy to understand and put into practice. Parents can let us know what their children need and we can adapt to their children’s needs. Anyone can reach their goals and be their best self in our community!
Our History
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was a life-changing experience for Christian and Braden Martinez. They wanted to bring this experience to other people who were looking for something different. From there, Somos Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was born! The father-son duo opened the academy in 2025 to help people gain confidence and lose weight and can help kids break out of their shell. Since opening our doors, we’ve dived deeper into teaching methods to break it down in a simple and straightforward way for the average person. Our mission is to make Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training accessible and comfortable for everyone!
